Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Clarksville, TN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, prior travel experience, and a TN or compact RN license.

Details
  • Work setting is a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed Emergency Department unit
  • Patient population includes all ages (general population)
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5
  • 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
  • Weekend and holiday coverage required
  • Block scheduling cannot be accommodated; must be available to meet the unit's scheduling needs
  • Cerner EMR experience is strongly preferred
  • No floating required
  • No charge nurse duties required
Requirements
  • Active TN or multistate compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
