Job description

Emergency Department Medical Scribe Wanted - PT or FT (Yonkers).
Synergy Medical Concierge Services is looking to hire an Emergency Department Medical Concierge in Yonkers, NY. We are looking for detail-oriented and personable individuals that possess the ability to work effectively in an Emergency Department environment. This is an exciting opportunity to gain healthcare experience for applicants pursuing medical school, physician assistant, nursing, and healthcare careers.
Compensation increases with experience. Employees are expected to be able to work nights and weekends in addition to regular weekday shifts.
Job Responsibilities include:
  • Documenting for Emergency Physicians in the Electronic Health Record (scribing).
  • Placing and receiving phone calls for ED staff.
  • Relaying questions and information between patients and ED staff.
  • Auditing documentation and billing compliance.

Job Requirements include:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, some college degree required.
  • Educational background in Biology or related field.
  • Ability to type at greater than 60 wpm.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
