Job description

Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a Mid-Level Endpoint Security Engineer to support a mission-focused federal cybersecurity program in Washington DC.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Join Everforth ECS Federal to grow your endpoint security career supporting secure data transfer, removable media control, and endpoint protection for mission environments tied to national security and law enforcement. You will work in a collaborative cybersecurity environment focused on protecting mission systems, enforcing security procedures, and supporting secure operations.
The Endpoint Security Engineer will support endpoint security, removable media controls, auditing, secure data transfer operations, and endpoint protection activities in classified or high-security federal environments. This role helps protect endpoints, monitor security activity, enforce approved workflows, and support compliance for mission-critical systems.
The Endpoint Security Engineer will configure endpoint security tools, monitor alerts, support removable media workflows, document controls, assist compliance activities, and support endpoint hardening, auditing, and secure transfer processes. This position will work closely with cybersecurity teams, system administrators, ISSOs, incident responders, service desk personnel, and program leadership to help maintain secure endpoint operations and reduce risk across the environment.
This role requires a hands-on cybersecurity professional with experience supporting endpoint protection, security tools, auditing, removable media controls, or secure data handling procedures. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail, strong documentation discipline, security awareness, and the ability to support endpoint security operations in a classified or sensitive federal mission environment.
  • Minimum 5 years endpoint security, systems security, or cybersecurity operations experience
  • Experience with endpoint protection, secure configurations, auditing, or compliance controls; Security+ required.
