Position : Hadoop Ecosystem Architect

Location: Richardson, TX

Type : Full Time Permanent 


Job Description : 


Should have 10+ Experience in IT and DW environment preferably on Teradata and Oracle Data warehousing platforms

Must have at least 4+ years of experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Map Reduce, Yarn, etc.)

Should have experience working with HBase, Casandra, Sqoop, or other NoSQL technologies

Strong coding background in Core Java- Strong knowledge of scripting including Python, shell scripting

Must have worked on designing and building large scale data lakes coexistent with enterprise datawarehouse 

Should be able to help IT & Business Customers in building a roadmap and strategy to transition into a Big Data journey with strong ROI

Should have strong techno-functional skill to efficiently conceptualize business scenarios into BigData Use Cases

Retail and Healthcare Domain knowledge is an added advantage.
