Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our growing mortgage outreach team. In this role, you will provide technical and administrative support to the HR Team/Managers by accurately maintaining employee data/record/information, owning administration of employment orientation, compensation/benefits, supporting execution of cyclical processes, payroll, and owning all required record keeping. To successfully complete this work, you will be required to interact with our team members at varying levels within the organization, as well as our stakeholders externally.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Senior HR with organizing all personnel files and recordkeeping as needed for staff management and as required for compliance.
  • Responsible for overseeing and participating in the timely and accurate reporting and processing of semi-monthly payroll for multiple locations in the U.S. and South Korea.
  • Manage employee timecard/PTO usage/compensation amp; benefits/confidential information in a timely manner.
  • Perform reconciliation of tax filings and assist with audits.
  • Coordinate for on/off-boarding processes such as running background checks, coordinating orientation, obtaining new hire paperwork, and ensuring policies are acknowledged.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment from the hiring process to the exit process.
  • Oversee data entry in HR information systems (Paycor HCM) and utilize Excel for employee data/record keeping.
  • Interpret employee engagement data and recommend action items to deliver results.
  • Perform computer setup and software installation (Microsoft Office, Adobe, Calyx Point, etc.)

Job Qualifications amp; Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/economics major, or other HR related major
  • Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office, CRM software, and data entry)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
