Job description

Independent Contractor Role
Platform: Initio Sphere – Private Capital Ecosystem – https://initiosphere.org
Compensation: $200–$500/hour or transaction-based earnings, depending on scope, deal size, and advisory engagement

About Initio Sphere

Initio Sphere is a private capital ecosystem where capital meets talent. We connect fund managers, investors, operators, and analysts through real deal flow, institutional frameworks, and curated relationships.

Private Markets Advisors are a key tier of our ecosystem—providing strategic, high-touch guidance to sponsors, funds, and investors while benefiting from both earning opportunities and enhanced credibility across the network.

Role Overview

Initio Sphere is onboarding Private Markets Advisors to provide strategic, operational, and capital-market guidance to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.

This is a contractor role, not traditional employment. Advisors operate independently through a verification and approval process.

Once approved, Private Markets Advisors:

  • Advise on fund formation, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy

  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility

  • Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure

  • Build a verified Advisor Track Record within the ecosystem

This role is ideal for experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants with a proven record of leading transactions or capital initiatives.

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Approved Advisors may:

  • Advise fund managers on capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning

  • Support deal sponsors with structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy

  • Mentor analysts and deal scouts on modeling, diligence, and transaction execution

  • Provide portfolio advisory services, operational insights, and value creation guidance

  • Participate in curated introductions with institutional investors or co-investors

Advisors focus on high-level strategic guidance and relationship-driven deal activation. They do not handle day-to-day transactional modeling unless approved.

Eligible Advisory Areas
  • Fund formation, capital raising, and LP communications

  • Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy

  • Operational or portfolio company advisory

  • Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts

  • Investor relations and network strategy

Approvals are granted based on experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to advise on real transactions.

Compensation & Deal Economics
  • Advisors operate as independent contractors

  • Hourly rates: $200–$500, based on experience, track record, and engagement scope

  • Transaction-based incentives may apply for advisory on closed deals

  • Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure

  • No cap on earning potential for consistent, high-value contributions

How Advisors Get Activated
  1. Submit an Advisor application with background, track record, and deal history

  2. Complete verification and category approval

  3. Get promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin working with funds, sponsors, and analysts on approved engagements

This ensures selectivity, credibility, and direct access to real opportunities.

Compliance Notice

Private Markets Advisors do not:

  • Provide investment advice to the public

  • Solicit securities

  • Market investments outside approved channels

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All advisory work must comply with applicable securities laws and focus on strategic guidance, mentoring, and deal support.

Who This Role Is For
  • Ex-IB, PE, VC, or senior fund executives with a proven transaction record

  • Experienced operators or founders with strong deal networks

  • Senior advisors who can mentor and elevate analysts and deal scouts

  • Professionals seeking high-touch advisory roles with direct transaction exposure

Why Join Initio Sphere
  • Direct access to fund managers, investors, and live deal flow

  • Monetize expertise without traditional employment constraints

  • Build your reputation and credibility across a high-signal ecosystem

  • Work with top-tier analysts and deal scouts, mentoring the next generation

  • One platform for advisory, capital, and professional growth
