The Dixon Ticonderoga Company is headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Ecommerce Catalog Specialist to join the Dixon Ticonderoga team.  In this role you’ll have a chance to build and grow art and education brands consumers love like Ticonderoga Pencils, Strathmore Paper, and many more.  This role is ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience owning and optimizing product content and accuracy across key retail partners including Amazon, Target, and Walmart. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced digital environment and is passionate about growing and improving the ecommerce experience for consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

Catalog Management

  • Own SKU setup, taxonomy, and attribute governance across all eCommerce platforms.
  • Ensure product data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
  • Manage complex product variations (size, color, bundles, multipacks).
  • Maintain and optimize product content within PIM/DAM systems (e.g., Salsify, Syndigo).

SEO & Data Optimization

  • Partner with marketing to develop and optimize product titles, bullets, descriptions, and attributes.
  • Partner with marketing teams for best-in-class A+ content deployment.
  • Apply SEO and keyword strategies to improve discoverability and ranking.
  • Continuously test and refine content to improve conversion and engagement.

Vendor Central Operations

  • Lead content syndication across retailers using platforms such as Salsify or Syndigo.
  • Manage content submissions and troubleshooting within retailer ecommerce platforms.
  • Communicate with Amazon & other leading retailers support teams to resolve catalog and operational issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing and sales to align product content with business priorities and new product launches.
  • Assist in executing promotional campaigns and seasonal merchandising strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing digital merchandising or catalog management with Amazon Vendor/Seller Central.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s catalog systems and operational workflows.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with digital asset management tools and PIM systems.
  • Some experience with data look up in ERP and PIM systems (SAP/Salsify)
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Amazon A+ Content and Brand Registry.
  • Knowledge of other marketplaces (e.g. Walmart, Target, Staples, Office Depot) is a plus.
