ABOUT THE ROLE
The E-commerce Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s online sales and presence. This role involves developing strategies to drive online traffic, improve conversion rates, and enhance the overall customer experience. The E-commerce Manager works closely with marketing, logistics, and IT teams to ensure smooth operations and growth of the e-commerce platform. This position typically works traditional hours, but occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays maybe required to successfully meet customers’ needs.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Monitor daily order flow and ensure orders are cleared through the system. Interact with logistics, finance, customer service and marketing as needed to resolve issues
  • Partners primarily with merchandising, marketing team to develop a weekly promotional strategy and customer experience
  • Help provide daily recommendations based on analytics for underperforming campaigns to help increase sales and conversion and pivot plan when necessary, on a daily basis
  • Provides weekly performance analytics of promotions to leadership, merchandising partners, and digital experience managers
  • Provides ongoing recommendations of site experience based on analysis of competitor experiences in the market for the category
  • Should be up to date on what’s best in class and how do we compare as well as what's working and not within the experience for the category on site
  • Lead effort to drive organic growth plans and activity
  • Takes an active role in the inventory procurement process; inventory in-stock rate and forecast accuracy.
  • Launch, manage, and optimize all eCommerce platforms, including but not limited to, Shopify, Walmart, Amazon, Doordash and Costco
  • Take a process and metric-driven view of the big picture and drive to the specific actions for various activities which will increase traffic and sales
  • Continue to evolve eCommerce processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of operations are scalable and the highest automation possible
  • Determine the best way to accomplish campaigns; either from within eCommerce team or via marketing services based on urgency and resource loading. Be willing and able to execute or delegate
  • Review eCommerce merchandising and other User Experience and make recommendations for improvement and develop plans to implement
  • Bring with you a deep understanding and usage of analytics tools available (Google, etc.) to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of overall marketing amp; eCommerce merchandising activity. Recommend and implement program changes based on that understanding
  • Engage marketing program and develop promotional ideas to grow affiliate-driven revenue through link-driven traffic. Assess ways to grow the affiliate marketing program to maximize ROI
  • Utilize graphic design tools including adobe illustrator, adobe photoshop, and canva to create supplemental content for ecommerce platforms including but not limited to promotional banners, mock product flat lays, and general marketing collateral
  • Communicate with third-party platform representatives bi-weekly to ensure the site and product performance is up to and exceeding expectations
  • Manage E-commerce content. Proofread new product content and assure it is loaded into the Store platform with proper image size, tags, attributes, etc. in a timely manner aligned with product launch plans. Content optimization for product descriptions to increase SEO performance across platforms
  • Coordinate with Digital Media Manager and third-party DigAd companies for better DigAd and SEO results within Google Analytics
  • Compile data for monthly analytics to gain actionable insights for the coming months
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates year-round
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, problem solve and make decisions in a timely manner

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS or BA in related area or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience in a role
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Food industry experience preferred
