Job description

K&N Engineering is seeking a Director, Demand & Channel Marketing, to lead demand generation and channel marketing across its vehicles business unit. This role will be responsible for translating K&N's brand strength, product innovation, and commercial priorities into measurable consumer demand, conversion, and profitable growth.

Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of Vehicles, this leader will partner closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Product, E-Commerce, and key retail channel partners to deliver an integrated go-to-market approach across K&N's direct and retail channels.

The Director, Demand & Channel Marketing, will lead Performance and Lifecycle Marketing, Digital Commerce, Retail Content and Merchandising, and Retail Marketing Partnerships. We are looking for a commercially minded marketing leader who combines strong consumer instincts with data-driven decision-making and a bias toward execution & profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance & Demand Marketing

  • Lead performance marketing across paid digital channels to drive consumer demand, acquisition, conversion, and revenue.
  • Optimize marketing investment and effectiveness through performance data, KPIs, and partnership with Brand Marketing.

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Lead CRM, email, SMS, and customer re-engagement strategies across the consumer lifecycle.
  • Leverage segmentation, first-party data, and consumer insights to increase engagement, repeat purchase, and customer lifetime value.

Website Sales & Digital Commerce

  • Drive profitable growth through K&N's digital assets, optimizing the consumer journey from discovery through conversion across digital platforms
  • Partner cross-functionally and leverage analytics and testing to improve merchandising, promotions, conversion, and overall digital commerce performance.

Retail Content, Digital Shelf & Merchandising

  • Lead K&N's retail content, digital shelf, planogramming, and retail merchandising strategy and execution across key retail and e-commerce channels.
  • Partner across Sales, Product, and Brand Marketing to strengthen product presentation, discoverability, new product execution, consumer education, and conversion.

Retail Partnership & Marketing Engagement

  • Partner with Sales and strategic retail customers to develop marketing programs that drive consumer demand, engagement, and sell-through.
  • Lead retail marketing and investment planning with sales across media, digital activation, promotions, merchandising, and content, with clear performance measurement and accountability for results.

Commercial & Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Translate Vehicles business priorities into integrated demand-generation, channel activation, and go-to-market plans in partnership with Brand Marketing, Sales Operations, Sales, and Product.
  • Align marketing investment and execution to key products, customers, channels, and growth opportunities with clear measurement and accountability for business results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, E-Commerce, or related field with 10+ years of progressive marketing and leadership experience.
  • Strong experience across performance marketing, digital commerce, lifecycle/CRM, retail, or omnichannel marketing with a demonstrated understanding of consumer acquisition, conversion, and retention.
  • Strong analytical and commercial capabilities, including managing marketing investments against measurable business outcomes.
  • Automotive aftermarket, enthusiast, consumer products, durable goods, or similar channel-driven industry experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and partner effectively across sales, marketing, e-commerce, and major retail customers; experience developing joint marketing or retail activation programs preferred.
