Job description

We’re looking for a Project Manager who can bridge technical and non-technical teams to drive end-to-end delivery across Shopify-based ecommerce, homegrown B2B systems, and clienteling tools. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical acumen and product thinking who can translate business needs into clear requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, proactively manage risks, and deliver high-quality execution in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

You'll lead projects from initial concept through final delivery, managing relationships with key stakeholders and contributors throughout the journey. Beyond simply coordinating timelines and managing budgets, you'll act as a creative thinker and problem-solver, helping to shape requests from the business into achievable technical solutions.

Your day-to-day will involve juggling both quick-turnaround projects and longer-term strategic initiatives. You'll serve as a frontline quality assurance resource, catching issues before they become problems. Perhaps most importantly, you'll help implement, model, and evolve our project management best practices, making the entire team more effective.

This role reports to the Project Management lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders to define project requirements and specs

  • Evaluate trade-offs and recommend solutions to drive informed decisions

  • Align resources and teams to meet project goals

  • Manage project execution, including timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives)

  • Drive cross-functional execution to meet milestones and delivery plans

  • Own project scope and timeline management

  • Collaborate with product owners to manage backlogs and incoming requests

  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to support project success

You should have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience with technology platforms/services

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

  • Familiarity with data analytics and data engineering projects

  • Understanding of the full software development lifecycle

  • Comfortable reading pseudo-code and engaging in technical discussions

  • Experience documenting technical requirements and rationale

  • Proficient with tools like Microsoft 365, Lucidchart, Visio, Asana, Jira

  • Curious mindset with a drive to understand underlying systems

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach

  • Understanding of roles within digital product teams

  • Passion for building effective products, processes, and workflows

We'd love if you have:

  • Experience in a retail head office environment

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (such as Snowflake), SQL language and technologies, and data warehouse patterns

  • Experience with vendor management

  • Experience in a scrum master role

We offer:

  • Competitive salary and incentives

  • Inclusive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, and vision

  • Generous paid time off

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge ecommerce technology

  • Professional development and growth opportunities

  • Collaborative and innovative work environment

If you're passionate about creating exceptional digital shopping experiences and driving ecommerce success, we want to hear from you!
