Job description

Pay Range: $72,500.00- $130,000.00

SUMMARY

Satisfies the customers' needs by offering excellent, friendly service.  Responsible and accountable for the entire store operation to include achieving all financial merchandising, sanitation, state and federal regulatory, training and human resource objectives.  Oversees all Department Managers within the store operation.  Ensures that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all associates and that the highest level of customer courtesy and service are achieved.  Ensures that all merchandising programs are executed completely per merchandising guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Does not supervise associates on a regular basis.

Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times. 

Manage all facets of the store operation to ensure achievement of the annual Store Profit Plan and achievement of budgeted expense levels.

Oversee all Department Managers within the store by ensuring that financial and merchandising objectives are being achieved.

Occasionally assist with actual store operation activities depending on business needs (i.e.: stock shelves, run office, unload trucks and assist customers).

Ensure that stock levels and overall store conditions are fully maintained as per company standards.

Ensure that all associates maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.

Ensure involvement with community affairs and events (i.e.: political networks, local programs and commerce events).

Responsible for facilitating and enforcing all training and development of associates within the store.

Ensure the developmental needs for future staffing growth are forecasted and achieved. 

Responsible for ensuring that corporate and state sanitation and safety regulations are being maintained in accordance with company policy.

Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age 

Strong communication skills

Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent

1 year experience as a successful Co Manager or equivalent preferred

Bachelor's degree preferred
