Job description

About ALSO.

We’re ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. We’re a passionate team of builders, dreamers, doers and innovators, focused on creating entirely new (not to mention, innovative and delightful) vertically integrated, small EVs designed to meet the global mobility challenges of today and tomorrow. Our mission is to inspire everyone to ride ALSO—replacing many local car, truck and SUV miles with ones on vehicles that are more affordable, more enjoyable and 10-50x more efficient.

ALSO is looking for an eCommerce Project Manager to evolve our Shopify-based eCommerce experience in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment, managing core projects across the eCommerce team. This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings order to complexity, and knows how to turn many inputs—especially from international teams—into focused, coordinated execution. You’ll be the connection point between regional teams, marketing, product, and engineering—ensuring local needs are heard, prioritized, and translated into scalable, global solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Own day-to-day website operations on Shopify, ensuring performance, reliability, and rapid iteration

  • Coordinate and drive website feature and experience initiatives across international and distributed teams, balancing global consistency with local needs

  • Act as the central point of intake for feedback, requirements, and ideas from regional teams—synthesizing inputs into clear, prioritized plans

  • Consultatively gather cross-functional requirements from finance, product, software, marketing, fulfillment operations, and customer experience teams.

  • Translate individual market needs into scalable solutions that work across regions, rather than one-off fixes

  • Partner closely with engineering and software teams to scope work, define requirements, and manage execution

  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept through launch, keeping teams aligned and moving forward

  • Create clarity in fast-changing environments by defining scope, timelines, dependencies, and ownership

  • Document decisions, requirements, and workflows clearly using Asana, Confluence, JIRA, or comparable tools

  • Continuously improve how work gets done—simplifying processes, removing friction, and increasing speed

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of Shopify experience, ideally in high-growth or startup environments scaling eCommerce operations across multiple regions or storefronts. DTC experience is strongly preferred, but transferable B2B knowledge will be considered

  • Experience configuring solutions in Shopify Plus and internationalization (localization, currencies, payments)

  • Proven experience coordinating projects across international teams and time zones

  • Strong project management expertise with the ability to move work forward with the right mix of process and action

  • Agile/sprint planning and management experience required. PMP certification or SixSigma is a plus

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and design

  • Experience using tools like Asana, Monday.com, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Exceptional ability to bring structure and clarity to complex, ambiguous projects

  • Clear, concise communicator who documents well and keeps teams aligned

  • Background in agile or iterative development environments is a plus

The salary for this position ranges from from $138,000 - $160,000 per year (inclusive of base salary and target bonus), depending on experience, qualifications, and location. This role will be based out of Seattle, WA. Interested candidates must be willing to come into the office 3 - 5 days a week.

Perks & Benefits

  • Robust health coverage — excellent health, dental and vision insurance covered up to 100% by ALSO with FSA & HSA options

  • One Medical membership and dedicated insurance advocates

  • Rich fertility and family building benefits with Progyny

  • Flexible time off

  • 401(k) match

Why ALSO.
