Job Description: E-commerce Brand Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven E-commerce Brand Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of our telematics and GPS business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in operations management, coupled with specific expertise in the automotive sector, particularly in auto purchase and auto finance. This role demands strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability in telematics and GPS product and service delivery.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, including logistics, inventory management, and customer service to ensure optimal performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and finance, to achieve business goals.
    • Leverage industry knowledge to design and enhance solutions tailored for clients in the automotive sector, including dealerships, fleet operators, and finance companies.
    • Stay updated on trends in auto purchase and auto finance to align operational practices with market needs.
    • Identify inefficiencies in current operations and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices across all operational functions.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
    • Set clear goals and KPIs for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
    • Manage relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and third-party partners to ensure quality and cost-effective service delivery.
    • Negotiate contracts and oversee procurement processes to align with company objectives.
  • Monitor and report on operational performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly those related to telematics, GPS technology, and automotive financing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on telematics, GPS, or related technology industries.
  • Proven expertise in the automotive sector, particularly in auto purchase and auto finance operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant software systems, including ERP, CRM, and telematics platforms.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices related to telematics, GPS technology, and automotive finance.
