Job description

Position Summary

The Distribution Center Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the products they need quickly and accurately. As part of our distribution team, you will receive, process, pick, pack, and ship merchandise that supports our retail stores and e-commerce customers. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer and store orders for shipment.
  • Replenish inventory and organize products within designated warehouse locations.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and other material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred but not required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety standards.
  • Ensure order accuracy while meeting daily productivity and quality goals.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding inventory issues or shipping discrepancies.
  • Support special warehouse projects and seasonal workload demands as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution center, retail, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer and handheld scanner proficiency preferred.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout an entire shift.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after training.
