Position Overview

The Senior Customer Account Specialist supports the growth of Nestle's Walmart and Sam's Club eCommerce businesses through customer-facing account management, business analytics, forecasting, and commercial execution. This role serves as the day-to-day business owner for assigned categories, partnering across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Insights, and eCommerce teams to identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and deliver annual sales, profit, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own sales, volume, profit, and commercial spend objectives for assigned Walmart.com and Sam's Club categories.
  • Serve as the day-to-day business owner for assigned categories, proactively managing performance, opportunities, risks, and execution priorities.
  • Support customer planning, Joint Business Plans (JBPs), and category growth initiatives.
  • Lead forecasting, promotional planning, distribution tracking, and post-event performance analysis.
  • Build and deliver customer-facing business reviews, selling stories, and recommendations focused on category growth, assortment, pricing, promotions, and eCommerce opportunities.
  • Serve as the analytics lead for assigned categories, developing scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting.
  • Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, availability, assortment, share, and promotional performance to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve customer and category performance.
  • Evaluate category and SKU performance to identify assortment expansion, productivity, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the eCommerce Associate to prioritize digital shelf opportunities and measure the impact of content, assortment, and availability improvements.
  • Collaborate with Sales Finance to manage commercial investments, forecast accuracy, financial reconciliation, and performance tracking.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute customer priorities, new item launches, promotional events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Act as a peer coach and share best practices in analytics, business planning, and eCommerce performance management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Development, Sales, eCommerce, Category Management, Analytics, or related commercial functions.
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience developing business presentations, scorecards, and performance reporting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to drive business results.
  • Passion for eCommerce, customer development, and digital growth.
