SUMMARY

The Ecommerce Assistant Manager at Goodwill Industries of Hawaii supports the Ecommerce Manager in overseeing daily operations of the e-commerce division. This Ecommerce Assistant Manager role involves coordinating projects, managing collections and sales processes, supervising staff, and helping ensure strong financial performance and loss prevention. The Ecommerce Assistant Manager also contributes to innovation, growth initiatives, and achieving sales targets within the retail and online operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Maximize revenue from donated goods through online sales
  • Oversee handling, pricing, and sale of e-commerce merchandise
  • Audit sales channels to ensure compliance with policies and quality standards
  • Assign tasks, manage schedules, and supervise staff performance
  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees on e-commerce operations
  • Manage inventory, supplies, equipment, and coordinate with facility staff
  • Ensure inventory control, loss prevention, and accurate reporting of discrepancies
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and take corrective actions when needed
  • Track product flow, prepare sales/inventory reports, and ensure financial accuracy
  • Adjust operations to meet sales, profitability, and production goals
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve complaints effectively
  • Support online listings, promotions, and shipping processes
  • Maintain organization, security, and cleanliness of e-commerce workspace
  • Ensure proper online merchandising to maximize sales
  • Communicate with retail teams and participate in organizational meetings
  • Follow safety policies and maintain safe operations
  • Perform duties with minimal supervision and complete additional tasks as assigned
