Job Requisition: Entry-Level Production Support Technician

Department: Operations / Production
Reports To: Production Manager or Operations Lead
Compensation: $15-$21 per hour, based on experience and relevant skillset

Position Overview

Eclipse Composites Engineering, Inc. dba Tiger Precision Products is seeking an Entry-Level Production Support Technician to support both our composite manufacturing production line and CNC machining center.

This is a hands-on, junior-level role intended for someone reliable, hard-working, and willing to learn. Prior composite manufacturing or CNC machining experience is helpful, but not required. We are primarily looking for someone with strong attendance, a good attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will assist with general production tasks, material preparation, shop organization, basic part handling, finishing, deburring, assembly support, and other production needs as assigned.

Key ResponsibilitiesComposite Production Support
  • Assist with preparation of composite materials, molds, tools, and work areas

  • Support composite kit preparation, layup, infusion, finishing, and assembly activities

  • Help cut, organize, label, and stage materials for production

  • Follow work instructions, drawings, travelers, and supervisor direction

  • Maintain clean and organized production areas

  • Handle parts and materials carefully to support quality requirements

CNC Machining Center Support
  • Support CNC machining operations under supervision

  • Load, unload, clean, deburr, and organize machined parts

  • Assist with material staging, fixture preparation, tool organization, and shop housekeeping

  • Remove chips, clean machines and work areas, and support coolant and basic machine-area maintenance

  • Help inspect parts using basic measurement tools as trained

  • Support machine operators and machinists with non-programming production tasks

  • Follow safety procedures around CNC equipment, cutting tools, moving machinery, and material handling

What We Are Looking For

  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed

  • Willingness to learn composite production and CNC support tasks

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

  • Comfort working in a manufacturing/shop environment

  • Basic math, measurement, and computer skills preferred

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, composites, machining, assembly, automotive, construction, maintenance, or similar hands-on work is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for most or all of the shift

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to use team lift, carts, hoists, or other assistance for heavier or awkward items

  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, grip, and perform repetitive hands-on production tasks

  • Ability to work safely around shop equipment, tools, materials, resins, dust, and moving machinery

  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, respirator, or other PPE as required by task

Work Environment

This position is based in a hands-on manufacturing environment supporting composite production and CNC machining operations. The role requires working on the production floor, standing for extended periods, handling materials and parts, and supporting multiple shop areas as production needs change.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior manufacturing or shop experience

  • Experience using hand tools or basic power tools

  • Experience with deburring, sanding, finishing, assembly, or material handling

  • Familiarity with CNC machines, composites, carbon fiber, fiberglass, or aerospace manufacturing

  • Forklift, pallet jack, or overhead lifting experience is a plus

  • Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 environment is a plus
