The Field Recruiter position will actively engage the local community and find applicants for a large opening of General Labor, Warehouse and Forklift positions at our multiple client locations. 40 hour per week Hybrid position with flexible hours. But will require being onsite for a few hours in the evenings a few days a week.


The jobsite for this position is in Faribault, MN


Project Role for 90 days, with potential to go longer


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting, managing job ads, making recruiting calls
  • Grassroots networking efforts in the local community will be the primary source of candidates
  • Local area Recruitment
  • Post flyers in identified areas of local market/ region
  • Attend local community-based events and engagement activities often on the weekend
  • Church Services, Local Fairs, Holiday Events/ Celebrations, ESL Classes Establish list of candidate prospects with continued out-reach via phone
  • Meet / Exceed placement goals established by Regional Operations Manager and compensation plan guidelines (i.e. minimum weekly placements 8-10 employees)
  • Enter prospective candidates in Applicant Tracking System through external link
  • Community Development
  • Responsible for identifying key areas within a given market/ region that will assist in establishing entry into communities / community involvement
  • Establish, develop and maintain key relationships within identified market/ region
  • As member of community, responsible for continual outreach and development of new leads and contact list
  • Customer Service
  • Initial contact with potential candidates
  • Continued engagement and support with candidates post-employment
  • Encourage retention of candidates during their employment
  • Develop and maintain relationship with onsite management teams
  • Attend scheduled recruitment meetings identified by Regional or Site Manager
  • Availability to assist with employee new hire orientations at client site
  • Assist both candidate and onsite management with key identifiers specific to cultural differences/ opportunities
  • Brand our company as an employer of choice through the creation of employment ads, social media engagement, and hiring events
  • Carry out all assigned duties and responsibilities, including additional tasks as needed to help achieve the overall goals of the department

Position Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish Required
  • 1 plus years of recruiting/ staffing experience preferred
  • Basic level technical skills such as use of smart phone / computer
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in a discrete and professional manner
  • Strong customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility with schedule, potential overtime, as determined by manager
  • Ability to spend time on client production floor
  • Employment contingent to successful completion of: criminal background, drug screening and pre-hire assessment
