Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Epicor Eclipse Developer to assist and support the migration from a Legacy ERP to Epicor Eclipse. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ERP data migration, system integration, and customization of Eclipse. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure a seamless transition while optimizing system performance.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Migration & Implementation
  • Assist the migration process from a Legacy ERP to Epicor Eclipse.
  • Analyze existing Legacy Bridge ERP data structures and map them to Eclipse.
  • Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for migration.
  • Ensure data integrity, validation, and accuracy throughout the transition.
  • Work closely with business users to define functional requirements and test migrated data.
Customization & Development
  • Customize Epicor Eclipse using Ecl scripting, Solar UI, and database enhancements.
  • Develop workflows, automation scripts, and reports to support business processes.
  • Optimize ERP functionalities to align with operational needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Eclipse migration.
System Integration & Support
  • Integrate Eclipse with existing business applications, including EDI, WMS, CRM, and financial systems.
  • Develop APIs and/or middleware solutions for a seamless transition.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users post-migration.
Testing & Documentation
  • Conduct data validation, system testing, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including migration plans and system configurations.
  • Provide post-migration support and system stabilization efforts.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills
  • Proven experience in ERP migration projects
  • Strong knowledge of Ecl scripting, Solar UI, and Eclipse database structures.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with third-party applications (EDI, API, CRM, WMS).
  • Strong understanding of wholesale distribution, supply chain, and order processing in Eclipse.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and execute large-scale ERP migration projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with IT, business teams, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and training abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
