You should be equally comfortable developing a persuasive client agenda, counseling executives, shaping a media strategy, editing complex content, and coordinating internal teams to move work forward.

If you are a confident communicator, strong media strategist, skilled writer and editor, and thoughtful mentor who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative agency environment, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do

  • Own and help command client relationships on assigned accounts, including leading client meetings, developing thoughtful agendas, identifying desired outcomes, and ensuring clear next steps
  • Build and manage complex project plans with clear timelines, resources, responsibilities, and deliverables across PR, creative, paid media, development, and other cross‑functional teams
  • Ensure longer‑term strategic initiatives remain on track while managing the daily pace of client needs, deliverables, and account activity
  • Lead the planning and execution of integrated communications campaigns, including earned media, thought leadership, executive visibility, social, content, awards, events, and other client programs
  • Develop and guide media strategy based on a strong understanding of clients’ vertical media landscapes and how those landscapes intersect with broader business and technology trends
  • Secure meaningful media opportunities, oversee media planning, manage top‑tier interviews and placements, and help prepare clients through briefings, messaging, and ad‑hoc media training
  • Write, edit, and improve high‑impact content, including press releases, executive messaging, contributed articles, media pitches, award submissions, eBook and whitepaper outlines, and other strategic communications materials
  • Shape content as part of a broader message progression, questioning and strengthening messaging, structure, calls to action, and strategic approach where appropriate
  • Translate client goals, market context, performance data, and account insights into actionable recommendations that improve client outcomes
  • Identify new opportunities for clients by asking thoughtful questions, bringing creative and scrappy ideas forward, and connecting PR work to broader business goals
  • Manage account budgets, scopes, timelines, KPIs, and profitability, ensuring work is delivered within budget and invoiced accurately and on time
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upsells, value‑added services, and expanded client impact
  • Contribute to new business efforts, including pitches, proposals, capabilities materials, strategic recommendations, and customized deliverables
  • Coordinate team resources across accounts, delegate work effectively, and ensure account teams remain aligned, accountable, and focused on quality execution
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, including Account Coordinators, Account Executives, and Senior Account Executives, through regular feedback, editorial guidance, project direction, and professional development support
  • Proactively create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility while providing the support needed for them to succeed
  • Navigate internal challenges and team dynamics with confidence, respect, and a solutions‑oriented mindset
  • Seek out industry events, networking opportunities, and community touchpoints that create value for clients, the agency, and team development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, client services, or account management, preferably within an agency environment
  • Demonstrated experience leading client accounts or significant client workstreams with minimal oversight
  • Strong media relations experience, including media strategy, pitching, interview coordination, briefing preparation, and securing meaningful media opportunities

  • Experience developing or guiding strategic communications plans, integrated campaigns, content programs, and executive visibility initiatives
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, timelines, client expectations, and cross‑functional resources
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead persuasive meetings and clearly articulate account strategy, client positioning, and recommended next steps
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising junior team members; direct supervisory experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of technology, business, media, and digital marketing trends
  • Proficiency with media research, reporting, and digital marketing tools such as Meltwater, MuckRack, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WordPress, or similar platforms
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States; visa support is not available at this time
