Our practice includes 24 physicians who are board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, 8 Advance Practicing Providers, and an outstanding staff of clinical and administrative personnel.

Huron Gastro currently has an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work 4, 9-hour days. The selected candidate would demonstrate extraordinary patient care and be detailed oriented.


Responsibilities would include:

  • Patient admissions and preparation
  • Implement patient plan of care, nursing interventions and procedures for the care of the patient
  • Physician assistance
  • Endoscopic procedure assistance
  • Monitor and support for the recovery of patients undergoing anesthesia
  • Conscious sedation administration and the use of reversal agents
  • Patient charting in EMR system

Requirements


Education

  • BS or BSN Nursing preferred

Licensure/Certification

  • Current RN License in good standing is required
  • CPR or BLS Certified
  • ACLS Certified

Experience

  • 2+ years of nursing required
  • Pre-operative and recovery experience preferred
