We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd. This full-time position is based remotely and focuses on providing specialized care in the treatment of eating disorders. Our Community Health Clinic operates within an outpatient setting and is passionately focused on delivering comprehensive mental health services, particularly for those battling eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. We prioritize a client-centered approach, combining professional expertise with compassion to support sustainable recovery.

This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing the clinician to provide counseling services from a location of their choice while connecting with clients through secure telehealth platforms. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, ensuring that mental health professionals can maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing essential services.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate each client’s symptoms related to their eating disorder alongside any co-occurring mental health conditions, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, engaging clients in goal-setting to outline clear pathways to recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to facilitate transformative therapy sessions.
• Address clients’ distorted beliefs about body image and self-worth through targeted interventions, fostering a safe space that encourages open dialogue about their challenges.
• Assist clients in acquiring healthy coping strategies, strengthening emotional regulation skills, and applying techniques to resist disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care, addressing each client’s comprehensive needs for ongoing support.
• Provide psychoeducational resources to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of eating disorders and fostering a supportive recovery environment.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment progress and therapeutic interventions, adhering to legal and ethical standards to uphold the integrity of our practice.
• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development gatherings to continuously enhance your clinical knowledge and skills in the realm of eating disorder treatment.

This position primarily focuses on clients dealing with various eating disorders, and counselors will be instrumental in addressing the unique psychological aspects of these conditions. You'll work with a diverse clientele, each with distinct backgrounds, needs, and treatment goals, assuring every individual receives tailored care that promotes recovery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.
• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Kansas is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapies specifically for eating disorders, with a strong understanding of their complex nature.
• Exceptional communication skills designed to build rapport and trust with clients quickly and effectively.

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly with eating disorders, is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques to effectively engage with clients in a virtual setting.

• The annual salary ranges between USD 80,000 and 104,000, commensurate with experience and specialization in this field.
