Night and weekend hours each earn a $1.00/hour shift differential.As a Med Tech, you start your shift by greeting residents by name and reviewing orders under a Licensed Nurse's direction; you administer all prescribed medications-including oral, liquid, inhalers, eye/ear drops, and topical meds-excluding subcutaneous injections (those are handled by an outside agency of the resident's choice or a licensed nurse). You change simple dressings for non-infected chronic or post-op conditions, provide skin care and support with bathing as needed, and document every service and any significant change in condition with precision. Throughout the day, you maintain dignity and privacy, protect resident rights, and uphold Western States Senior Communities standards for appearance, sanitation, hygiene, and health.
