• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns and develop tailored treatment strategies.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments and ongoing evaluations of client progress.
• Deliver high-quality individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Document clients’ therapy progress meticulously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to respond to evolving client needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including psychiatrists and case managers to provide holistic mental health care.
• Advocate for client rights and access to critical mental health resources within the community.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and state regulations, ensuring confidentiality and the highest quality of care.

This role involves working primarily with individuals facing mood disorders, relational challenges, and other mental health conditions. As a LMFT, you will have the unique chance to facilitate therapy that addresses relationship dynamics, enabling individuals and families to navigate their difficulties and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, with a strong preference for those specializing in mood disorders.
• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Solid understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatric professionals.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive therapeutic outcomes for clients dealing with mood disorders.

• Expertise in teletherapy platforms and digital therapeutic interventions.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
• A background in advocacy within community health initiatives.

• Annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
