Easy Way Psychological Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, acuity levels, and strengths.
• Design and implement culturally relevant, family-centered treatment plans that incorporate trauma-informed practices.
• Deliver outpatient services, including individual and family counseling, tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights about client progress.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes, ensuring compliance with program standards.
• Respond to client crises as needed, employing de-escalation techniques and providing appropriate interventions.
• Manage a designated caseload that aligns with programmatic requirements while ensuring optimum service delivery.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff, contributing to the continual improvement of service offerings.

In this role, you will work primarily with vulnerable populations undergoing various mental health challenges. Your expertise will assist individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. The nature of telehealth allows you to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds across California, helping to bridge gaps in access to critical mental health services.

To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a valid clinical license (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California. It’s crucial that applicants have a license that does not require supervision, ensuring they can operate independently in delivering care.

Though not mandatory, candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in mental health counseling or therapy, particularly with vulnerable populations, will be favored. Experience with telehealth services is a plus, as it enhances the ability to adapt to this innovative model of care.

Easy Way Psychological Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
