Seeking a BC/BE fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist to join an established multidisciplinary team in eastern North Carolina.
Highlights include:
  • Full-time, employed position
  • Hospital privileges
  • Team includes specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology
  • Growing physician-led private not for profit health system with locations across eastern North Carolina
  • Established neuro-oncology program
  • Growing clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists
  • Subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology
  • Medical Center has a NSICU led by Neurointensivists as well as a rehabilitation center providing inpatient and outpatient support to neurology patients
  • State-of-the-art technology like GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, Cyberknife radiosurgery, and innovative clinical trials that improve brain tumor knowledge, treatments and outcomes
  • Established clinical trials program
  • Ability to participate in the teaching and mentorship of hematology oncology fellows and neurology residents
