Surgical Oncologist Opportunity – Ellicott City, MD

Are you passionate about advancing the field of surgical oncology in a collaborative, specialty-focused environment? We invite you to help build a dynamic new service in Ellicott City, Maryland, where innovation and multidisciplinary care are at the forefront.

We are seeking a Surgical Oncologist to join our team as we develop a comprehensive specialty hospital alongside the established 11-year referral base of Skylos Sports Medicine, a BluePearl Pet Hospital partner practice.

In this role, you will focus on surgical oncology and advanced soft tissue procedures, working closely with Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered cancer care. You will play a central role in shaping the surgical oncology service, contributing to complex case management and advancing techniques in oncologic and minimally invasive surgery within a highly collaborative setting.

This position is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible surgeons, particularly those with fellowship training or a strong clinical focus in surgical oncology. Candidates who are passionate about multidisciplinary cancer care, innovation, and building a growing service will find this opportunity especially compelling.

State-of-the-Art Facility:

Our new 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced technology to support the highest level of patient care. The hospital features a 160-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, arthroscopic and endoscopic equipment, digital radiography, dedicated procedure and ultrasound suites, and a fully equipped intensive care unit with Snyder O2 cages. Additional resources include separate GI and respiratory isolation areas and two underwater treadmills, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic, treatment, and rehabilitation capabilities.
