We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at ICAT, a Marsh business, as a Claims Service Specialist. This role will be based in Broomfield, CO, or can be performed remotely nationwide.

The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

We will count on you to:

  • Receive and acknowledge new claims, assessing coverage and communicating findings to brokers and insureds.

  • Determine claim liabilities, value, and service provider fees, setting reserves with low to moderate financial authority in accordance with company and legal standards.

  • Appoint and direct appropriate service partners to defend insured parties and quantify liability and damages.

  • Assess the financial exposure of insureds and set reserves accordingly, obtaining necessary reserving, settlement, and payment authority.

  • Notify insurers when a claim exceeds specific criteria to keep them informed of potentially high-concern claims and develop final reports summarizing the lifecycle of each claim.

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience with low to moderate complexity in property and auto claims.

  • Nationwide adjuster's license, or willingness and ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

  • Strong understanding of insurance coverage and claims processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to assess financial exposure and set appropriate reserves.

Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.#ICATThe applicable base salary range for this role is $62,400 to $132,900.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
