What You Will Be Doing:

The Early Talent & University Programs Specialist is responsible for building, executing, and sustaining Yancey Bros. Co.’s university and early-career recruiting strategy. This role focuses on sourcing and on-boarding top student and early-career talent for the Sales & Leadership Training (SaLT) Program and Internship Programs by developing strong campus partnerships, managing full-cycle recruiting, and maintaining an engaged pipeline of future talent.

This position plays a key role in strengthening Yancey’s long-term talent pipeline through: proactive university engagement, candidate relationship management, collaboration with internal leaders to align early talent with current and future business needs, assisting the Training Programs Manager with the implementation of established program.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Recruiting top talent candidates via, referrals, our on-line website and various recruiting tools.
  • Making and establishing relationships with identified Universities and programs.
  • Scheduling / creating / participating in / hosting hiring events such as job fairs, recruiting events, site tours, welcome events, ‘get to know Yancey’ events, program graduations and ‘Alumni’ gatherings.
  • Leading the on-line and social media presence of the Sales and Leadership and internship programs.
  • Other duties as assigned and qualified.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in like industries preferred
