A Warehouse Associate responsible for sorting skids focuses on managing and organizing the flow of pallets within a fast pace logistics environment. This role is essential for maintaining an organized warehouse, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, and supporting overall operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Physical Sorting: Manually stacking, separating, and organizing various types and sizes of pallets (skids) based on condition, type, or destination.
  • Material Handling: Utilizing equipment like a sit down forklift or diesel forklift to move heavy stacks of skids safely across the warehouse floor or trucks.
  • Quality Inspection: Visually inspecting pallets for damage and separating those requiring repair from those fit for reuse.
  • Area Organization: Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area, ensuring clear aisles and designated storage zones for sorted skids.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience driving reach truck forklift (required)
  • Able to work the hours of 5:30AM – 2:30PM Monday - Friday
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic math and reading skills for order verification.
  • Familiarity with electrical products is a plus.

Pay is $20 - $21 / hour
