Are you passionate about helping elementary school students overcome math learning challenges and build confidence?
Club Z! Tutoring of Bethesda is seeking a fun-loving and talented educator to provide personalized, one-on-one math tutoring in Bethesda, Maryland.
Why are most of our tutors active educators? We offer the flexibility, support, and compensation that teachers deserve!
This is for private tutoring located in Bethesda, MD. Applicants must live or work in the Greater Bethesda, Rockville, or Silver Spring, MD areas. This is not a virtual tutoring position! You will go to the student's location.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with individually matched elementary school-age students located close to you in Bethesda, Maryland, and potentially other locations in the greater Bethesda area.
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans.
  • Communicate progress and goals with parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Build student confidence.

Qualifications:
  • Passion for teaching and engaging with younger students.
  • Strong knowledge of elementary math, particularly fractions, decimals, and multi-digit operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with MAP-M assessments.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Experience:
  • Experience in tutoring or teaching elementary school students is a plus.
