Job description

Summary

Join Salina Regional Health Center as a Pre-Op Registered Nurse and provide high-quality nursing care for surgical patients in an ambulatory/surgery setting. Enjoy competitive pay, relocation assistance, and an excellent benefits package.

  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000

Schedule

  • Day Shift
  • Full-Time
  • Weekend and on-call requirements discussed during the interview.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
  • Monitor patients before surgery and ensure readiness.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families regarding pre-operative care.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
  • BSN Preferred
  • Current Kansas RN License
  • BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days of hire
  • Recent hospital experience preferred
