Our client is seeking an EMC Safety Compliance Engineer to join their team. As an EMC Safety Compliance Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting compliance testing and certification processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EMC Safety Compliance Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA

What's the Job?

  • Perform and execute EMI/EMC testing, Safety, and Environmental Compliance assessments
  • Manage product qualification and approval processes for avionics radio products
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as RTCA DO-160G, LVD, RED, and EMCD
  • Support submissions for official certification through relevant bodies like FCC and TCBs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve compliance issues during testing phases

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar technical discipline
  • Experience in EMI/EMC, Environmental, safety testing, and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with RTCA DO-160G EMI and Environmental testing
  • Knowledge of LVD, RED, and EMCD standards
  • Minimum of 5+ years in EMC, Environmental, WiFi, NFC design for compliance
