About the Role:
PROVISION MANPOWER RESOURCES LLC is looking for a skilled EDM Machine Operator / EDM Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment including wire EDM and sinker EDM machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to program and execute machining operations
  • Program CNC EDM machines and make adjustments to optimize cutting parameters, speed, and accuracy
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment
  • Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and documentation in compliance with shop standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience operating wire EDM and/or sinker EDM machines
  • Proficiency in CNC programming and EDM machine setup and operation
