Since 2005, the Columbia Safety & Supply family of companies has grown into a network of six brands and seven locations across North America-serving commercial users, contractors, and industrial professionals with the gear and equipment they rely on every day.
As an Ecommerce Specialist, you'll play a key role in operating and optimizing our B2C websites. You will manage product listings, execute onsite promotions, refine pricing, and use data-driven insights to recommend meaningful improvements. Your work ensures our online shopping experience is accurate, engaging, and easy for customers to navigate.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the B2C Ecommerce Manager, Creative Operations, Sales, and IT teams to enhance content, strengthen organic search rankings, support promotions, resolve site issues, and increase conversion rates. Success in this position comes from producing high-quality work, leveraging analytics, and contributing to consistent website performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage product listings on all B2C websites (add, edit, remove) using tools such as Optimizely (CMS), Pimcore (PIM), and the Amazon Seller Portal to ensure accuracy, consistency, and an optimized product experience.
  • Develop strategic plans for leveraging B2C sites, with a focus on onsite search performance, promotional execution, organic search ranking improvements, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, including sales trends, competitive listings, and pricing insights across platforms.
  • Leverage data to identify opportunities related to products, services, and site performance, and resolve issues using insights from website analytics and system tools.
  • Optimize product and content feeds to key third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Meta) to improve visibility and traffic.
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, Creative Operations, and Sales to enhance content, execute promotions, and generate high-quality leads-ensuring alignment across all digital touchpoints.
  • Identify and prioritize website enhancement needs and communicate requirements to IT for efficient implementation and continuous site improvement.
