E-Scooter Delivery Driver (Seasonal - W2)

Compensation:
$18.00/hour

Shift Options:

Wednesday -Sunday 12p-8pm

Location:
100 Prestige Park Rd. East Hartford, CT 06108

Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the warehouse. A company van is provided during shifts to perform job duties.

Please Note:
This is a W2 seasonal position and is not eligible for benefits. All candidates must live near the East Hartford area and be able to commute to the warehouse location.

Job Summary

Veo seeks operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining our vehicles and continually improving the efficiency of our fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate, swap batteries, and rebalance vehicles throughout the city while performing quality checks and minor repairs.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout an entire shift.

Responsibilities
  • Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks
  • Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap batteries
  • Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas
  • Perform basic repairs and quality checks
  • Respond to on-demand requests to locate and retrieve scooters
  • Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Comfortable driving a company van
  • Smartphone proficiency and ability to use mobile applications
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs without assistance
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
