Compensation Range

$115,000.00 - $130,000.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:

Manage the Virtual design and construction modeling process to help to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within allotted budget.

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Working with on-site Virtual Design & Construction staff to update models to reflect as-built conditions
Driving and leading the implementation of these technologies on large-scale construction projects
Manage, train, and supervise VD&C team according to Company policy
Lead clash detection and RFI resolution with project teams in preconstruction efforts
Direct 4D scheduling efforts using BIM models in conjunction with project schedules
Support BIM and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) production operations, Revit, Vico or other modeling platforms and interoffice collaboration on these platforms together with IT staff, MEP staff and Project Controls staff.
Develop training material and conduct BIM training with new and existing employees.
Work with local, regional and corporate IT and VDC staff in support, maintenance and development of firm-wide BIM standards and 3D CAD tools
Participating as a integral team member in the adoption of Virtual Design & Construction program
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Two to three years experience in architecture, engineering, mechanical systems, and/or construction in a management or supervisory role (Preferred experience with Datacenters )
Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience
Knowledge of and direct support experience in AutoCAD required, proficiency in Revit, Vico Constructor Software.
Experience with Navisworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Project management, communication and multi-tasking skills are a must
