We are looking for a Full Time, Learning and Development Specialist to join our skilled team of professionals! This position is a hybrid role based out of our Voorhees, NJ location.


PositionOverview

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization's employees. They assess developmental needs within branch positions, identify knowledge and skill gaps and identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs, and implements effective methods to educate and enhance the performance of all staff, focusing on professional development and continuous learning. This position salary ranges from $65k-$75k annually.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Learning Systems and Administration

  • Implementing and maintaining Learning Technologies in support of Talent Development initiatives.
  • Maintaining the company's Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management System (LCMS), including but not limited to troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, creation and implementation of training resources, and activation/deactivation of employees.
  • Supporting the design and development of high-quality, innovative, and effective learning programs and solutions in various delivery formats.
  • Supporting orientation and annual training plans for all company positions.
  • Coordinating training communications (emails, alerts, releases, etc.), ensuring thorough, well-informed, and timely communications to all applicable recipients.
  • Creating, maintaining, and implementing training compliance and protocols for all instructional and eLearning materials, including content publication standards, course nomenclature, process adherence, user permissions, and role designation.
  • Updating and maintaining all style and implementation guides, ensuring that changes to department standards are approved by supervisor and/or Leadership.
  • Maintaining new hire and annual training plans for all company positions.

Instructional Design

  • Designing, developing, and updating creative, learner-centered, performance-based training materials delivered via face-to-face, virtual classroom, and self-directed eLearning formats.
  • Creating and updating population profiles for roles and departments within the company.
  • Collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop creative, innovative, and visually appealing learning products (job aids, charts, checklists, infographics, and multimedia videos) across subject matter and functional specialty areas.
  • Reviewing training materials created by company employees and modifying as needed to ensure they meet learner needs and department standards.
  • Creating and implementing training compliance protocols for all instructional and eLearning materials, including content publication standards, course nomenclature, process adherence, user permissions, and role designation.
  • Evaluating instructional materials during audits focusing on documentation, location accuracy, and content quality; discussing recommendations for improvement with supervisor and making changes where applicable.
  • Updating and maintaining all style and implementation guides, ensuring changes to department standards are approved by supervisor.
  • Assessing office and department learning needs and recommending and implementing targeted, strategic performance improvement solutions that support business and talent priorities.

Training Evaluation

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning solutions, courseware, and programming and utilizing evaluation data to implement changes.
  • Initiating training program evaluations in alignment with department standards. Compiling and

sending data to Leadership for review and analysis.

Human Resources Support

  • Supporting and collaborating with HR team members in administering and executing HR activities, including but not limited to hiring, compensation, leaves, resignations, terminations, discipline matters, benefits administration, and employee surveys.


Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • BA/BS in HR, OD, HRD, or related field, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare organization.
  • 3+ years of Human Resource Experience.
  • Experience with Learning Management and Learning Content Management Systems.
  • Experience with WebEx Enterprise.
  • Experience with Adobe Cloud Apps.
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
