As our eCommerce Web Content Associate, you will be responsible for the addition, removal, quality, and maintenance of new and existing product information for our website.  


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for the addition, quality and maintenance of new and existing product information on JME’s e-commerce website to ensure complete and accurate information
  • To support business initiatives related to changing product information while maintaining the website’s data integrity and product category hierarchical structure
  • Work closely with Product Managers to prioritize projects throughout product lifecycle
  • Communicate with JME vendors on product projects to collect product data and related content to create e-commerce product listings
  • Perform content activities such as new product data entry into e-commerce platform, data analysis, editing, technical content support and other functions related to content issues along with ensuring the consistency of product information
  • Auditing product information for accuracy and consistency
  • · Maintain & update products ensuring accuracy products, specs, filters, pricing, images, and descriptions of categorized, merchandised, and searchable for optimal navigation
  • Assist with product assortments, additions, deletions, and substitutions
  • Coordinate product data feeds from suppliers and internal systems
  • Assist with new product launches and web refreshes
  • Respond to internal sales/customer service inquiries about product details and information
  • Use standard templates for file loads, costing and competitive analysis
  • Share new items loaded with vendor contacts
  • Participate in Webinar’s/ Teams and onsite training meetings for vendors/ suppliers
  • Review & list products that may be in JME Stock and not on the JME website
  • Perform Competitive analysis of new & current vendors to determine JME price points are good
  • Auditing product information for accuracy & consistency
  • Add item additions to the tracker sheet once they are live and email is sent, unless it is the last day of the week add to the tracker

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience with BigCommerce e-commerce platform (or similar) a big plus, but not required 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required 
  • Build and maintain relationships in a corporate environment as well as with JME Suppliers 
  • Good problem-solving skills 
  • Strong teamwork skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), especially Excel. 
  • Good agility, flexibility and time management skills to accomplish multiple priorities and initiatives 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Able to understand technical information and concepts 
  • · Proven experience in managing and analysis of technical product data a plus 
  • · Skilled at analyzing data and sorting relevant information

Compensation: $50,000-52,000
