Your Role
The Ecommerce Business Analyst supports the Ecommerce team by gathering information, digging into complex problems, and translating data into easily consumable reports with actionable insights. A successful team member will proactively monitor website performance, innovate current reporting and forecasting processes, support Ecommerce leadership in measuring goals, and shape measurable KPIs to help the team quickly identify how changes impact the business and where resources should be focused.Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting and Dashboard Ownership

  • Own,maintain, and continuously improveEcommerceperformance dashboards inSigma, ensuring self-service reporting that answers common day-to-day questions about the business

  • Proactivelymonitorwebsite performanceon a dailybasis, surfacing emerging trends, anomalies, and conversion rate shifts toEcommerceleadership before they become material headwinds

  • Support weekly business reporting onEcommerceKPIs, ensuring leadership and business partners have clear visibility into drivers of performance across Website, Amazon, and Inside Sales channels

  • Deliver product performance insights, promotional hindsight analysis, and ad-hoc analytical requests for theEcommerceteam

  • Partner with the Business Intelligence team to define andmaintainnecessary tables inSnowflaketo store and referenceKPIs across all reports

Forecasting and Planning

  • Play a key role in total-business planning and forecasting, working cross-functionally to deliver challenging and achievable sales and KPI targets

  • Maintain end-to-end AOP KPIs in reporting dashboards with consistent updates aligned to changing forecasts

  • Overseenet newprocesses for capturing, prioritizing, and delivering financial modeling requests

Site Analytics and Testing

  • Design, execute, and analyzeA/B and multivariate website tests, translating results into clear recommendations for site optimization

  • Monitor and report on conversion rate performance, with the ability to overlay current trends against prior-year benchmarks toidentifymeaningful shifts

  • LeverageAdobe Analyticsas the primary web data source,establishingand maintainingaccuratebaselines as the platform evolves

  • Cross-trainonadditionalweb analytics tooling as needed to create detailed promotional recap analyses with attention to messaging, merchandising, and media performance

AI and Self-Service Analytics

  • UseAI tools and LLMs (e.g., Claude)to accelerate data analysis, draft insights, and improve reporting workflows through effective prompt engineering

  • Help drive theEcommerceteam's transition toward self-service analytics,identifyingopportunities to reduce dependency on centralized BI resources for routine reporting needs

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Develop strong relationships with Merchandise Planning, Product Management, Consumer Insights, Marketing Strategy, and Advertising teams to support totalEcommercebusiness needs

  • Collaborate with Product, Supply, and Ops teams to improve the S&OP process andidentifypromotional execution opportunities tied to inventory positioning

Required Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field

  • 3+ years ofdemonstratedsuccess as a business analyst or in a similar role

  • Experience in omni-channel retail with emphasis onEcommerceor other DTC channels

  • Adobe Analytics:hands-on experience monitoring visitor and consumer engagement; ability toestablishbaselines and interpret differences across analytics platforms

  • Snowflake:experience querying and organizing data using SQL-based data warehousing

  • Excel:advancedproficiencyfor data manipulation, forecasting models, and ad-hoc analysis

  • AI and LLMprompting:demonstrated ability to use tools like Claude to accelerate analysis, generate insights, and streamline reporting workflows

  • A/B and multivariate testing:experience designing, executing, and interpreting website experiments with clear business recommendations

  • Experience compiling and analyzing large datasets and communicating results to senior stakeholders with actionable insights

  • Experience forecasting or planning using historical data, current trends, and assumptions

  • Understanding ofdata visualizationbestpracticesthrough dashboard or business report creation

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Sigma:experience building andmaintainingdashboards in Sigma for self-service business reporting

  • Looker:familiarity with Looker dashboards andLooks; experience supporting or managing a Looker migration is a plus

  • NetSuite:experience accessing and interpreting financial or operational data within NetSuite

  • Commercetools:familiarity with commerce platform data structures and order management reporting

  • Understanding of basic statistical models (regressions, cluster analysis) and their use in prediction and optimization; experience with R, Python, or similar tools is a plus

  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills with the ability to communicate complex data clearly to executive audiences

  • Ability to handle complex and often ambiguous problems while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, and able todemonstratestrong leadership and personal accountability within a collaborative team environment
