E-Commerce Data and Product Listing Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

Job description:
Our client is a wholesale furniture manufacturer and distributor based in Brooklyn, NY. They design, source, and sell indoor and outdoor furniture and home decor through major e-commerce marketplaces including Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, and other retail partners. Their catalog spans a wide range of living room, bedroom, dining, outdoor, and accent furniture categories.

The Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Data and Product Listing Specialist to take ownership of their product catalog - from factory file intake through marketplace publishing and ongoing accuracy maintenance. This individual will work directly with the e-commerce team to ensure product data is clean, complete, and optimized across all selling channels.
This is a hands-on role where accuracy and speed both matter. The successful candidate will start by learning the company's systems and correcting existing data issues before progressing to new listings and more complex product types such as modular furniture and multi-material variations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain product listings in Excel and across online marketplaces, including Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, and others
  • Clean, format, and upload product data from factory specification files into internal systems and marketplace platforms
  • Enhance product pages with accurate titles, descriptions, images, and specifications
  • Manage product variations, option groupings, and parent-child relationships across catalogs
  • Maintain data feeds and troubleshoot product data integrity issues
  • Perform bulk updates using spreadsheets, flat files, and marketplace-specific upload tools
  • Identify and resolve data management gaps while documenting improvements
  • Track catalog updates, new product launches, and data quality metrics
 
 
Qualifications

Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce data management, product listing, or catalog operations
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Direct experience with at least one major marketplace platform, such as Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, Wayfair Partner Home, Walmart Seller Center, or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors in large datasets
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Preferred:
  • Experience in the furniture, home furnishings, or home decor industry
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central, including variation groupings, A+ Content, and flat file uploads
  • Experience managing large, multi-category product catalogs
  • Exposure to automation tools or scripting, such as Python, Google Apps Script, or Power Query
