The CMMS Assistant plays an important role in keeping our facility running efficiently. In this position, you'll support maintenance and operations teams by managing inventory systems, maintaining accurate records, coordinating materials, and assisting with the processes that keep equipment and production running smoothly. What You'll Do

This is a hands-on support role in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you'll help maintain accurate inventory records, support maintenance activities, and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking incoming and outgoing materials and updating inventory systems.
  • Perform inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Receive, inspect, process, and document shipments, purchase orders, and inventory transactions.
  • Organize and maintain inventory areas to ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and accessible.
  • Support material fulfillment activities, including picking, replenishment, and distribution of supplies to production and maintenance teams.
  • Assist with CMMS database updates, work order tracking, reporting, and documentation.
  • Process invoices and purchasing documentation to support facility and maintenance operations.
  • Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely (training provided).
  • Communicate with maintenance, operations, and leadership teams regarding material availability and operational needs.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard free work environment.

Qualifications


Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inventory inaccuracies and discrepancies.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or successfully complete required forklift certification.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, maintenance support, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using inventory management software, ERP systems, WMS platforms, or CMMS software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain an orderly and methodical workspace.
