About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate movement of freight by managing order entry, dispatching, routing, and communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
What You’ll DoMaintain accurate customer profiles and enter load information from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
Coordinate routing, dispatching, and traffic management activities to ensure smooth operations
Monitor daily pickups and deliveries, confirming on-time performance and load condition
Communicate with account managers regarding problem loads and document resolutions
Provide status updates to customers and receivers throughout the lifecycle of shipments
Take driver check calls and verify delivery schedules and expectations
Validate load data before marking loads as delivered to support accurate billing and accounting
Investigate and document product overages, shortages, and damages
Schedule and adjust delivery appointments as needed
Accept or decline loads based on guidance from account managers
Provide drivers with clear routing instructions, directions, and delivery requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience writing routine reports and professional correspondence
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay Details: $20.00 to $19.00 per hour
