As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Sumterville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access processes, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and control entry and exit for personnel, vehicles, and shipments in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or potential concerns.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident logs and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
