Summary: 
St. Anne Catholic School - Tomball is a vibrant, faith-filled Catholic elementary school dedicated to providing a Christ-centered education that nurtures growth in Faith, Knowledge, Compassion, and Character of each student. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Middle School Religion Teacher to join our team and support our mission of academic excellence and faith formation.


Qualifications:

  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, committed to upholding and teaching Catholic doctrine.
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification or willingness to obtain certification, as required by the Archdiocese.
  • Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings, traditions, and Scripture.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for Catholic education and the ability to engage and inspire students in their faith journey.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Teach middle school religion classes, integrating Catholic teachings, Scripture, Church history, and moral development.
  • Inspire students to live out their faith through prayer, service, and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church.
  • Plan and lead liturgical celebrations, prayer services, retreats, and service projects in collaboration with school and parish leadership.
  • Create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and spiritual growth.
  • Partner with parents, faculty, and parish staff to support students' faith formation.
  • Serve as a role model of Catholic values in word and action.
  • Support the mission and values of Catholic education by participating in school activities, professional development, and faith-based initiatives.
