The Director of Home Care & CES oversees the day-to-day operations of the Home Care & Community Employment Services Divisions. They carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: staff management, organizational growth, strategic planning and development, quality assurance, DVR relations and compliance, and compliance will Federal and State laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Effectively build organizational and staff capacity, developing a top-notch workforce and the processes that ensure the organization runs efficiently and successfully.
  2. Develop and maintain a competitive advantage through anticipation of future strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, trends and consequences and incorporate them into the organizational strategic plan.
  3. Understand fully the Members and their funding source. Develop, coordinate, and monitor each Member's case, considering the cost and effectiveness in managing the Member's case, while at the same time, make appropriate decisions to meet the each Member's Needs.
  4. Handles Member or provider concerns or requests regarding services, billing, or other needs, assuring excellent customer service.
  5. Ensures authorized services are met to the fullest capacity, makes homes visits as necessary.
  6. Make suggestions to the Executive team in efforts to better the organizations position in the market.
  7. Create continuity, quality, and safety of services delivered in compliance with Federal and State laws, regulations and company policies.
  8. Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of services provided by Home Care & CES.
  9. Monitor profit and loss performance of Home Care & CES operations, develop and manage annual budgets and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses.
  10. Work with Human Resources in the recruitment and hiring process to meet Member and staffing needs.
  11. Cross-sell agency services to all referral sources as appropriate to increase Member base and company profits.
  12. Assure programs and services conform to company financial objectives by implementing contract specifications, developing and negotiating annual budget proposals and evaluating client satisfaction.
  13. Develop and implement clear and measurable short and long term goals, operating procedures, and business plans to achieve the company's strategic goals.
  14. Report financial status of programs, conduct feasibility studies, recommend and implement fee schedules, monitor revenue and expenditure trends.
  15. Establish standards to meet quality assurance outcomes, on-site inspections, surveys, medical reviews, and medical audits.
  16. Coaches and develops individual team members by providing constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Graduate of an accredited College of Business or College of Nursing required.
  2. At least five years of industry related experience including two years in upper management.
  3. Working knowledge and understanding of Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to Home Care, Medicaid, and other insurance and payer sources.
  4. Must possess a valid WI driver's license, and ability to meet agency driving standards. Must provide proof of auto insurance.
  5. Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
