The Inside Sales Rep is an individual contributor responsible for achieving assigned revenue targets across a defined account portfolio. This role partners closely with the sales teams and reports directly to the General Manager – Duro Dyne to drive growth, strengthen distributor relationships, and expand product penetration within the HVAC market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively promote the full portfolio of HVAC products through multiple communication channels, including phone, email, virtual meetings, and occasional in-person visits with distributors.
  • Manage and grow existing HVAC distributor accounts while increasing sales through share-of-wallet expansion, new product introductions, and new distributor prospecting.
  • Maintain regular, direct communication with assigned accounts to provide updates on sales performance, forecasts, and annual volume progress.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to align on account strategies, objectives, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Utilize the company CRM system to document all sales activity, maintain accurate territory contact lists, and provide actionable feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and actively monitor, analyze, and respond to competitive activity within the assigned territory.
  • Participate in networking efforts such as trade shows, industry events, and conferences as required to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Support sales initiatives through data-driven insights, disciplined follow-up, and consistent account engagement.
Travel Requirements
  • This position requires approximately 10% travel, primarily for distributor visits, trade shows, and industry events.

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
    Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Compensation: This is a salaried commission role.  The starting total compensation (salary/comissions) for this role and market is between $73k - $109k annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
