As a Territory Manager, you will be the face of Duro Dyne across your assigned region, driving growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strong, long‑term relationships throughout our distribution channel. You will be responsible for increasing sales of our products and services across the territory while managing a limited number of key or named accounts. This is a field‑based role built on being in front of customers and being present in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Promote the full line of Duro Dyne HVAC products through every form of communication and interaction, including in‑house distributor meetings, job site visits, phone, email, and virtual meetings.

  • Maintain and grow existing HVAC business through share‑of‑wallet gains, new product sales, and prospecting of new distribution and contractor accounts.

  • Sell through our distribution channel, and deliver full product training to select distributors through the Duro Dyne Technical Institute (DDTI) and a range of field training methods.

  • Maintain direct communication with each account and advise them of their sales volume throughout the year.

  • Use the company CRM to log all sales calls, maintain the territory contact list, and keep cross‑functional teams informed.

  • Maintain accurate pricing, and analyze and respond to competitive activity in the territory.

  • Represent Duro Dyne at trade shows, industry events, and conferences as needed.

  • Travel as required to cover the territory, typically around 70 percent, with a company car and fuel card provided.

What We Are Looking For Required
  • Previous experience as a regional or territory sales manager or in a comparable field‑based outside sales role.
  • Sound negotiation and consultative selling skills, with the ability to grow and defend an existing book of business.
  • Strong organizational skills and the self‑direction to manage a large, multi‑state territory independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills and exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office and comfort working in a CRM.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70 percent and to hold a valid driver’s license for a company vehicle.
Preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset in this role.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business administration, business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Sheet metal industry knowledge.
  • HVAC duct connector knowledge.
  • Experience selling through HVAC distribution.
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried, commission role. The starting total comp range for this role in the market is between $115k - $150k. Under the plan, target compensation will be made up of 75% base salary and 25% commission. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. New hires are guaranteed to receive the target commission for 6 months. Candidates will receive a Company Card and Fuel Card.

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short‑term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long‑term disability insurance.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well‑being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
