What You'll Do as an Oversize & End Dump CDL Class A Driver:

  • Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer with an end dump trailer to transport materials to and from job sites.
  • Travel within a 150-air-mile radius to construction sites, quarries, and customer locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
  • Load, unload, and secure materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
  • Complete delivery tickets, logbooks, and required paperwork accurately.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and job site personnel throughout the day.
  • Report equipment issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.

Our Ideal Oversize & End Dump CDL Class A Driver:

  • Experienced: Must have at least 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience (required for insurance eligibility), proven oversize hauling experience, and end dump trailer experience. Must possess a valid CDL Class A license and a current DOT Medical Card.
  • Safety-Conscious: Prioritizes safe driving practices, DOT compliance, and proper load securement on every haul.
  • Dependable Team Player: Shows up ready to work, communicates professionally, and contributes to a respectful, supportive team environment.
  • Technically Capable: Comfortable using GPS navigation to travel efficiently between job sites and customer locations.
  • Active: Able to climb in and out of trucks and trailers throughout the day, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and sit for extended driving periods.
