Job description

Join Duke Department of Urology in our Pediatrics Division!
Pediatric Urology faculty opportunity-Duke Health, Durham, NC
Duke Department of Urology, Division of Pediatric Urology, is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist at the Assistant, Associate Professor, or Professor level to join their faculty. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited Urology residency; an accredited Pediatric Urology fellowship, and have ABU board certification or active board eligibility with subspecialty certification on schedule. This is a joint appointment at both Duke University Hospital and Duke Children's Hospital
  • Deliver comprehensive surgical and non-operative pediatric urologic care across the continuum - prenatal consultation through young-adult transition
  • Including hypospadias, undescended testis, hydronephrosis, reflux, neurogenic bladder, complex reconstruction, stones, DSD, and urologic oncology, with appropriate open, endoscopic, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.
  • Maintain a balanced practice across Duke Children's and outreach sites, share inpatient consult and call coverage, and engage in multidisciplinary clinics (spina bifida, DSD, oncology, fetal care, transitional urology).

Academic rank will be based on training and experience with research and clinical productivity measures used to guide the clinical track. Faculty will be offered an appointment at the Duke School of Medicine within the Department of Urology and receive exceptional Duke Faculty benefits, including college tuition assistance and an excellent retirement package.
